Job description
An awesome client in San Francisco specializing in unique farm-fresh floral bouquet is seeking a part-time Florist!
Responsibilities:
· Assist customers and recommend product
· Prepare and assemble floral arrangements/bouquets following design specifications
· Inspect all floral elements to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with company standards
· Maintain store visual standards according to guidelines
· Utilize POS system for sales and client capture
· Manage daily inventory including receiving live shipment and processing out product, as needed
· Participate in scheduled inventory tasks
· Communicate feedback to corporate management
Qualifications:
· Min 1 year of experience as a florist with a focus on floral designs
· Prior retail experience preferred but not necessary
· Open availability on weekends and ability to work up to 24 hours per week including early mornings and evenings (3-4 shifts per week)
· Able to work with live floral product
· Able to lift up to lift up to 30 lbs. and to climb a ladder up to 8 ft.
Position type:
· Part-time: Up to 24 hours/week
· Ongoing contract
Pay Rate:
· up to $28/hr
